About this event Please join New Roots Institute, Animal Alliance Network, Plant Based Treaty and The Humane League for an incredible day surrounded by loved and rescued animals at Vegan World Sanctuary on March 30! Check out the schedule below to have a successful experience. Arriving on time is crucial to coordinate parking and to stay on schedule. Please expect to help with projects to maintain a comfortable home for the Sanctuary residents, eat vegan treats, mingle with passionate activists in the LA and OC area, and watch The Humane League's documentary, Common Enemy. ⏰ Arrival Time: 10:30am to 11am 🤗 Welcome: 11am to 11:30am 🐷 Volunteer Hour: 11:30am to 12:30pm 🥪 Lunch + Mingle Hour: 12:30pm to 1:20pm 🍿 Documentary Screening of Common Enemy: 1:30pm to 2:30pm 🚘 Carpooling is highly encouraged. Through our Leadership Program , students are motivated to dig deeper into the impacts, and solutions, of factory farming—while being trained in effective communication, advocacy, and leadership skills. Upon completing the fellowship, alumni go on—with our continued support—to develop and empower other leaders to create change in their communities toward our shared goal of ending factory farming.
