EA Global brings together a wide network of people who have made helping others a core part of their lives. Speakers and attendees share new thinking and research in the field of effective altruism and coordinate on global projects. This year, we also have a Global Catastrophic Risks-focused EA Global in the San Francisco Bay Area, but we expect the London event to be similar to our past London conferences — with most attendees likely still focused on risks from AI and other GCRs, and with about ~50% of our content focused in these areas. Application details Application deadline: 19th May 2024 (11:59pm BST) Default ticket price: £400 GBP Discounts are available — you can select from a range of ticket price options during checkout All applications for this event will receive a response by 21st May 2024 at the latest. Most applications receive a response within two weeks. Approximate schedule The event will begin with a opening reception on the Friday (but you can arrive at any time during the weekend). Saturday and Sunday will have full-day schedules with content finishing at around 6pm on Sunday evening. The agenda includes: Talks and discussions on the latest ideas at the frontiers of the EA movement (past examples available here) Workshops to help improve your thinking and execution Meetups, networking, and social activities Our COVID policy We are not currently imposing any COVID restrictions, though we recommend attendees to be up to date with WHO-approved vaccines. Travel expenses We are prepared to reimburse travel expenses for some attendees. You may apply for travel support if the cost of attending feels a bit too high for your budget.
