Join fellow Animal Rights Collective Portland (ARCPDX) activists for this important global day of action against ADIDAS and their use of Kangaroo skin (K Leather) for soccer shoes. Nike, Puma, and New Balance have all switched to cruelty-free materials, but Adidas is digging in its (kangaroo skin) heals. Let's let them know, loud and clear, kangaroos are not shoes!
We will stand outside the Adidas outlet in Troutdale and will NOT be entering the store. This is a HIGH IMPACT/LOW STAKES demo that will receive a lot of publicity. We need ALL HANDS ON DECK. Cities all over the world will be protesting on this Global Day of Action and your participation is vital.

Meet outside the Subway in the Troutdale Outlet Mall, just a few shops over from the Adidas outlet, at 12pm sharp for a quick debrief. We will walk over to the Adidas outlet together for the demo and then walk back to Subway for a post-brief before heading over to Sugarpine Drive-In for a social (event page coming soon).
ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED
We will have posters and video outreach available. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved, whether it's standing quietly with a sign or TV or handing out outreach to shoppers.
