Thursday, April 11, 2024 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM MDT CU Denver Business School (where the CU Board of Regents will be meeting) 1475 Lawrence Street Denver, CO 80202 Meet us on the sidewalk along Lawrence Street, near the intersection with 15th Street. Please join other Physicians Committee supporters and me on Thursday, April 11, in Denver to speak up for animals. At the University of Colorado (CU) Anschutz Medical Campus, surgery residents perform invasive procedures on live pigs before the animals are killed. We will be there to tell CU that this cruel practice must end! The Physicians Committee and our supporters have repeatedly asked CU to replace animals. But faculty and administrators have not listened. Now we are taking the issue to the top by urging the university’s Board of Regents to use its authority to end this practice immediately! Use nearby public parking. **Signs will be provided!** We’ll be there, rain or shine. Please share this event with your friends and family within driving distance of Denver and ask them to join you at the demonstration. We hope to see you at there!
