About this event
Carl's Jr has more than 1,000 restaurants in the United States, meaning they consume thousands of eggs every day. In 2016, Carl's Jr and Hardee (owned by CKE Restaurants) pledged they would go cage free by 2025, but neither has publicly reported any progress against this goal and time is running out.
We're holding a protest to show Carl's Jr that consumers care that they keep their word and that they treat animals with a minimum-level of respect. Come join us as we hold signs and talk to patron and employees about why its important that they report progress against their promise to phase out cruel cages for hens.
This protest is part of a coordinated effort nationwide and locally to put pressure on Carl's Jr. To maximize our impact locally, we're communicating directly with the store manager and you can complete online actions here:
