Expect to meet more animal activists who want to end the abuse of animals raised for food just like you.
🍪 Please signup on this page. The Humane League will cover one pastry per signup. Bring a friend and have them signup too to claim their pastry.
🐔 Be ready to take 100 quick online actions as a group to help animals who are trapped in factory farms from your phone or laptop. We are also writing postcards. Postcard materials will be provided.
🐣 We are taking action to end the use of cruel cages in the egg industry.
Why?
The hens that are confined in dirty and cramped cages to lay eggs for restaurants’ menus suffer tremendously. These sensitive chickens cannot stretch their wings, ache from cut feet from the wire cage flooring, and experience psychological distress for almost 2 years.
Hens want to stretch their wings, dustbath to clean their feathers and perch to experience safety. These feelings and behaviors are taken away from hens in the catastrophic egg industry.
Each one us can take action to urge restaurants to end this animal cruelty. Dedicate this time to speak up for hens, meet more animal advocates, and support a local vegan bakery.
