✊We're at a crucial point in the fight to end cruel cages. Let's show the egg industry our strength.
🚨 Hardee's profits from the 1.3 million hens who spend their lives in cages with painful lesions, brittle bones, and no space to move. Hardee's parent company CKE Restaurants promised to end this cruelty by 2025 but have not reported on their progress. Recently, grassroots pressure got Carl's Jr. to stop using eggs from caged hens! Let's make this happen for their sister company Hardee's!
⏰ The event starts at 11am at Annie O' Love's in West Ashley. We'll write postcards to Hardee's corporate leaders and then many of us will also go to Hardee's in West Ashley at 12 noon to hold a peaceful protest. Join either or both! No prep needed. RSVP to get the event link.
