About this event
End Corporate Greed. Demand Transparency. Empty Cruel Cages! ๐
The average egg served at Hardee's comes from a hen who will spend almost all of her life crammed in a cage. She has painful open lesions all over her feet, caused by the sharp wire mesh floors. She can't escape when attacked by her equally miserable cage-mates. She suffers from brittle bones that easily snap. She can't even spread her wings, or lay down comfortably.
CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Hardee's, knows this cruelty is happening in their supply chains, and they rightly promised to phase out all battery cages by 2025. 2025 is fast approaching, yet they refuse to provide any evidence that they are actively working to meet this looming deadline.
An estimated 1.3 million hens hang in the balance, agonizing in cages, while Hardee's profits off of a seemingly empty promise.
Can we count you in to hold Hardee's accountable? Sign up to join us by holding a sign! All materials are provided.
This is part of a global movement to end factory farming, one cruel practice at a time. ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ท
