Dieser Leitfaden gibt dir wichtige Informationen, damit du gut vorbereitet bist, uns in dieser kraftvollen Form des Aktivismus zu unterstützen. Über den Cube of Truth Der Cube of Truth ist eine Straßenkampagne, bei der wir durch direkte Aktionen auf strukturierte und wirkungsvolle Weise mit der Öffentlichkeit in Kontakt treten. Auf Bildschirmen zeigen wir Standardaufnahmen der Tierausbeutung, um die Wahrheit offenzulegen. Freiwillige führen gleichzeitig Einzelgespräche mit Passanten, um sie über die Ausbeutung von Tieren aufzuklären und ihnen zu zeigen, wie sie etwas verändern können. Vorbereitung auf den Cube of Truth Bevor du an deinem ersten Cube of Truth teilnimmst, ist es verpflichtend, dich mit unseren Outreach-Methoden und Richtlinien vertraut zu machen. So stellen wir sicher, dass wir gemeinsam eine einheitliche und effektive Vorgehensweise beibehalten. Eine Einführung bekommst du im Briefing. Ausrüstung Von den Organisatoren bereitgestellt: • Masken, Schilder und Outreach-Karten werden am Tag des Events zur Verfügung gestellt. Optional: In Absprache mit den Organisatoren, kannst du ein vollständig aufgeladenes Laptop oder Tablet mitnehmen, auf dem unser standardmäßiges Cube-Material heruntergeladen ist und in Endlosschleife abgespielt werden kann. Achte darauf: • Den empfohlenen Mediaplayer herunterzuladen: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ • Das Cube-Material herunterzuladen: https://www.anonymousforthevoiceless.org/event- footage • Dein Gerät auf lautlos zu stellen, das WLAN zu deaktivieren (zur Batterieschonung), die Helligkeit zu maximieren und den Passwortschutz zu deaktivieren. Kleidung und Erscheinung Für die Veranstaltung ist es entscheidend, dass jeder einen einheitlichen, professionellen Look beibehält: • Tragen: Schlichte schwarze oder AV-gebrandete Kleidung, die dem Wetter angemessen ist. • Akzeptabel: Vegane Botschaften (in voriger Abklärung) • Vermeiden: Kleidung mit Logos, Grafiken, Tierwohl oder ungenaue vegane Botschaften oder Marken von anderen Organisationen. • Absolut keine: Kleidung oder Schuhe aus tierischen Materialien Dieser strenge Dresscode ist entscheidend, um die Ernsthaftigkeit und Professionalität unserer Aktionen zu wahren. Persönliche Gegenstände Bitte bringe keine Taschen oder persönlichen Gegenstände mit, es sei denn, es ist absolut notwendig. Wenn du dennoch Dinge mitbringst, musst du sie während der gesamten Veranstaltung bei dir tragen. Die Organisatoren übernehmen keine Verantwortung für persönliche Gegenstände. About the Cube of Truth The Cube of Truth is a street outreach campaign where we use direct action to engage with the public in a structured and impactful way. Preparing for the Cube of Truth Before attending your first Cube of Truth event, it is mandatory to familiarize yourself with our outreach methods and guidelines. Equipment Provided by Organisers: • Masks, signs, and outreach cards will be provided on the day of the event. Optional: If requested by the organiser, please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet with our standard Cube footage downloaded and ready to play on a loop. Clothing and Appearance For the event, it's crucial that everyone adheres to a unified, professional aesthetic: • Wear: Plain black or AV-branded clothing, appropriate for the weather. • Acceptable: accurate vegan messages (ask before attending) • Avoid: Clothing with logos, graphics, welfarist or inaccurate vegan messages, or branding from other organizations. • Absolutely no: Animal-derived clothing & footwear This strict dress code is essential to maintaining the seriousness and professionalism of our actions. Personal Belongings Please refrain from bringing bags or personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. If you must bring items, you will need to carry them for the duration of the event. Organisers will not store or take responsibility for any personal belongings. In some cases, it is possible to store bags, but still Organisers do not assume liability. Respect and Representation At the Cube of Truth, we expect everyone to respect the organisers and other volunteers. It is important to follow our structure and represent our core values with professionalism.
