Protest Aldi's Support of Caging Animals at Holiday Event

ALDI is hosting a sold-out "Charcuterie Chalet" event in Chicago on Dec 4th-5th and we will be there to share the horrific truth behind what it is calling a "festive treat." There is nothing to celebrate while pregnant pigs are confined to cages so small they can't even turn around. Customers and event-goers have a right to know about the extreme cruelty that goes into making ALDI's charcuterie boards. We will be organizing protests and leafletting on BOTH days. We will also have a gestation crate on display to call out ALDI for allowing this type of horrific confinement for mother pigs in its supply chain.
Animal Equality has a campaign urging ALDI to ban the use of cages for pregnant pigs and hens. Join us in spreading awareness to customers about ALDI's low animal welfare standards and let's hold the company accountable for doing less than the bare minimum for animals.
