Standing for the Southern Resident Orcas at the Washington State Inauguration

This event will honor Tahlequah and yet again her tragic loss of another new baby, who passed away on New Year's Eve—and turn our grief into a call for action. Let's ensure Governor Bob Ferguson knows the critical importance of breaching the lower four Snake River dams, a measure that could significantly impact the survival of both Chinook Salmon and the Southern Resident Orcas. With Washington State's new leadership taking office, we have a powerful opportunity to demand meaningful action for the endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales (SRKW). Join us on Wednesday, January 15th, at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia, as we rally to highlight their urgent plight. With many other political groups expected to be present, we ask everyone to wear black to create a unified presence. We'll provide over 400 signs, so there's no need to bring your own. Just bring your passion, your voice, and your commitment to standing up for the Southern Resident Orcas.
