Animal Rescue in the Age of Trump | DC Summit
-> Washington, DC, USA
->
Join the effort to rescue animals whose torture is being corruptly funded by our own government!
Trump and the MAGA movement have received massive contributions from factory-farming tycoons such as Ronald Cameron, the owner of Mountaire Farms, and he has returned the favor: the last Trump administration sent billions in subsidies to animal-abusing industries which used the money to roast pigs alive, suffocate chickens in chemical foam, and subject beagles from places like Ridglan Farms to unspeakably vile experiments. Activists will rally in DC to challenge the government cover-up of these animal-abusing industries and take action to rescue animals from the brink.

The first Trump administration provided unprecedented subsidies for the factory farming industry, to the tune of tens of billions of dollars. This included paying for farmers across the nation to roast animals alive when slaughterhouses were shut down due to COVID-19. An upcoming exposé by activist and cruelty investigator Alexandra Paul and others shows why the Trump administration may have been so willing to benefit the industry: one of Trump’s largest donors was a poultry tycoon named Ronald Cameron, the owner of Mountaire Farms.
Alexandra Paul, who was acquitted in a groundbreaking trial in February 2023 after her rescue of chickens from Foster Farms, has rescued animals once again – this time from Trump’s chicken farm, Mountaire. Activists will be gathering in Washington, DC with Paul and other notable figures in the movement, including prominent animal rights lawyer and activist Wayne Hsiung, to challenge Trump on his ties to Big Ag. Activists will be trained in the methods that Paul and Hsiung have used to bring national attention to factory farming abuses and win groundbreaking cases in court. Our mission will be to rescue animals from places such as Mountaire and Ridglan Farms — a beagle research facility in Wisconsin — and share their stories with the world.
We will also be partnering with mission-aligned groups to harness grassroots energy to create change on their campaigns.

The Summit will be a participatory and interactive event, with hands-on workshops and trainings that will prepare you to defend the rights of animals in the court of law and the court of public opinion. No prior experience will be required to attend.
