Your participation plays a vital role in exposing the truth about animal exploitation and helping educate the public on the realities of animal exploitation. This guide will provide you with essential information to ensure that you are fully prepared to join us in this powerful form of activism. About the Cube of Truth The Cube of Truth is a street outreach campaign where we use direct action to engage with the public in a structured and impactful way. Standard footage from animal agriculture is displayed on screens to reveal the truth, while volunteers hold one-on-one conversations with passersby to educate them on animal exploitation and how they can make a difference. Preparing for the Cube of Truth Before attending your first Cube of Truth event, it is mandatory to familiarize yourself with our outreach methods and guidelines. This will ensure we maintain a unified and effective approach. You’ll get an introduction with the briefing. Equipment Provided by Organisers: • Masks, signs, and outreach cards will be provided on the day of the event. Clothing and Appearance For the event, it's crucial that everyone adheres to a unified, professional aesthetic: • Wear: Plain black or AV-branded clothing, appropriate for the weather. • Acceptable: accurate vegan messages (ask before attending) • Avoid: Clothing with logos, graphics, welfarist or inaccurate vegan messages, or branding from other organizations. • Absolutely no: Animal-derived clothing & footwear This strict dress code is essential to maintaining the seriousness and professionalism of our actions. Personal Belongings Please refrain from bringing bags or personal belongings unless absolutely necessary. If you must bring items, you will need to carry them for the duration of the event. Organisers will not store or take responsibility for any personal belongings. In some cases, it is possible to store bags, but still Organisers do not assume liability. Respect and Representation At the Cube of Truth, we expect everyone to respect the organisers and other volunteers. It is important to follow our structure and represent our core values with professionalism. The public’s perception of us directly impacts the effectiveness of our message, so let’s make sure our actions reflect the seriousness of our cause.
